HPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2026

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released Advertisement No. 25/2026 for recruitment of 45 Food Safety Officer (Group-B) posts in the Food & Drugs Administration Department, Haryana. Eligible candidates can apply online from 28 September 2026 to 19 October 2026, 5:00 PM through the HPSC website.

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) invites online applications for 45 Food Safety Officer (FSO), Group-Bvacancies in the Food & Drugs Administration Department, Government of Haryana, under Advertisement No. 25/2026. The online application process will begin on 28 September 2026 and the last date to submit the application form and pay the fee is 19 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

Candidates aged 18 to 42 years as on 19 October 2026 can apply, subject to applicable Haryana Government age relaxations. The HPSC Food Safety Officer (Group-B) post carries a basic pay of Rs. 35,400 per month at FPL-6, Cell-1. The notification specifies the pay scale as Rs. 9,300–34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,200, corresponding to the revised FPL-6 pay level.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in eligible subjects such as Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Processing, Food Safety and Quality Management, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine, or other qualifications recognized under the applicable Food Safety rules. Candidates must also have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at Matric level, or Hindi at a higher level. The prescribed Food Authority training will be provided after appointment.

The recruitment process may include a Screening Test, Subject Knowledge Test, and Interview, although HPSC may modify the shortlisting or examination process depending on the number of applications received.
