Project Associate Level-II

CSIR CFTRI, Mysuru is inviting applications for 01 temporary Project Associate-II position under the AI-quantFE project. The role involves R&D activities, experiments, data collection, analysis, and report writing in fortified food research.

CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru has announced engagement for 01 Project Associate-II (PAT-II) position on a purely temporary contractual basis under the project “A Foundational AI-Driven Approach for Iron Quantification in Fortified Foods (AI-quantFE)” with project number FBR020402. The appointment is initially for six months and may be extended based on project requirement or until the project ends, whichever is earlier.

The selected candidate will work on R&D activities aligned with the project objectives, including experiments, data collection, compilation, analysis, and research report writing. The desired qualification includes hands-on experience in experiments related to food grain milling and product development.

Applicants must have an M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Processing Technology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology with 2 years of relevant experience, or an M.Tech. in Food Technology, Food Processing Technology, Food Safety and Quality Management, or Biotechnology from a recognized university. The age limit is 35 years as on 04.10.2026, and only candidates whose essential qualification results have already been declared are eligible to apply.
